Who do you work with?
I offer individual therapy for older teens and adults located in Michigan. I support people navigating grief and loss, anxiety, caregiving, illness and aging, parenthood, relationship changes, and other major life transitions.
Is therapy online or in person?
Sessions are online through telehealth. You must be physically located in Michigan at the time of your therapy session and have a private space and reliable internet connection.
What happens during a free consultation?
A free consultation gives you a chance to briefly share what brings you here, ask questions, and explore whether working together feels like a good fit. We can discuss availability and how to check insurance coverage or discuss payment options. You do not need to share your full history or commit to starting therapy.
Frequently Asked Questions
Starting therapy can bring questions. Here are answers to some common questions about working with CG Therapy.
Do you offer couples or family therapy?
No. CG Therapy offers individual sessions only. We can explore how relationships, divorce, or changing family roles affect you, but I do not provide couples or family sessions.
Do you accept insurance?
I accept a variety of insurance plans through Headway. Coverage and your out-of-pocket cost depend on your specific plan and benefits. You can check insurance through my Headway profile or contact me to discuss insurance and payment options before starting.
What is the first therapy session like?
The first session is a chance to get to know each other, discuss what brings you to therapy, and begin identifying what you would like support with. We will review practical information and make space for your questions. You can share at a pace that feels comfortable.
